the steam version of fallout 3 seems to crash on my computer after pressing the new game button in the main menu i get into the loading screen but after roughly half a second it freezes and closes the game. i have a b580, 32gigabytes of ddr4 3200mhz ram and an i3 13100f on windows11 and from what i could gather of off the web amd graphics cards users also have this issue and it seems for them atleast to be a driver issue i cant say for before the newest drivers as of 21.3.2025 if the broblem existed but as of the concurrent latest drivers the issue seems to be apparent

Hello mändm,

Thank you for posting on Intel Community Forum.

It seems that you are having issues while playing Fallout 3 as it crashes after pressing "New Game". After review, it seems that due to an application issue, this game needs a patch to run correctly on Intel Arc GPUs. The patch can be downloaded from Nexus Mods website and is called Intel HD graphics Bypass package. You will be required to register for a free account in order to download the file. Visit Nexus Mods for more information.

For reference: Fallout 3* Crashing when Trying to Start New Game

If the same issue is observed, please let me know so we can investigate further.
