intel arc A380 with i7 3770

Hi , I have Intel arc a380 with i7 3770 processor LGA 1155 chipset motherboard, I played well with triple A games but mail issued is graphics card hdmi and dp port not working when I installed arc driver. I know this graphic card not compatible with this system but my request to driver developer team to release driver that minimum work with 3rd generation system. Games are running fine with this system but I can only use motherboard vga or hdmi port not graphics card port . Kindly inform developer to share updated driver, I will very grateful to them.

Hi @Palash ,

Indeed, this platform is not supported, plus 3rd Gen Core CPUs are Discontinued, so new graphics drivers won't support it.

However, I'd like to help you in this case.

Could you try the following:

1. Download the DDU Tool and latest graphics driver 32.0.101.5971 (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/785597/intel-arc-iris-xe-graphics-windows.html);

2. Disable internet connection and reboot to Safe Mode;

3. Use DDU Tool to uninstall graphics drivers and restart the system; 

4. Install Arc driver with internet disabled;

5. Connect video cables to Arc card to check behavior.

I was frustrated then I was decided to buy new device which support ARC a380 , I have bought intel i5 12400f with new MSI motherboard . Old devices are decommissioned. if possible kindly help me to guide me how to enable FPS meter in game right side corner for ARC graphics card ?  in intel graphics controller only mem, cpu gpu utilization can be check but I could not found no fps stat.

Hi Palash,

The FPS counter is not yet implemented in the Arc Control tool.

However, you can use other tools like FPS counter in Steam, or built-in Windows Performance widget (just press Win+G and configure what you want to see and in which place of the screen).
