no control over arc a770 fan speed

Hi everyone. So im having this issue where, even if i manually lower the fan speed of my arc a770 phantom gaming, the rpm stays at around 3700rpm. tried reinstalling drivers but nothing changed. any way i can fix this problem?image_2024-11-24_224808365.png

Thank you for posting in our Community. I see you're experiencing an issue with the fan speed on your Arc A770 Phantom Gaming GPU. Could you please provide the current version of your GPU? This will help me determine if the installed version supports the Fan Control functionality.

Furthermore, aside from reinstalling drivers, if you've performed any other tests aside from reinstalling the drivers, please share the details so we can avoid repeating the same steps.

Hi von.

Currently the version of my GPU is the 32.0.101.6297. Also aside from reinstalling drivers i've tried using different apps to try and change the fan speed (like MSI afterburner) but none seems to have worked

Thank you for the details. Since you've already tried reinstalling the drivers and using MSI Afterburner without success, I suggest you Download and install the latest available driver for your Intel Arc A770 GPU from the Download Center.


Moreover, please be guided that the Fan Control Functionality was added in the driver version 31.0.101.4369 or later and Intel® Arc™ Control 1.68.4938.6. The feature will allow setting a customized fan curve.
