Hi, I`ve just bought a HP Spectre X360 16 with Core i7 1260P - 32 GB RAM 2 TB SSD. First day tried to test a simple game to see how it performs. I have a Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio with RTX A2000 50W TDP, playing World of Warships in 4k max settings FSR 1.0 at around 45 FPS , also have a Spectre X360 15 with a GTX 1650Ti, plays around 33 FPS and 40 Watts TDP. To my surprise, the new Spectre with the ARC A370M plays it at 19 FPS at only 30 Watts. This GPU should be at minimum 35 Watts going up to 40 Watts, just like the 2020 Spectre with the GTX 1650Ti and the 2021 with the RTX 3050. Did HP gave a shot on it`s own foot with the ARC GPU? Or there is a solution? P.S: All the settings were on the highest possible.
Any ideas or should I sell it?
Thanks!

Hello Luizflcwb,
Were you able to check the previous post? I would like to know if Intel Arc Overlay shows up the same Watts Geekbench 6 show.
Let us know if you still need assistance.

Hello Luizflcwb,
Thank you for your time.
I have been working on the investigation and now I have the following suggestions:
- Check the power plan is not limiting the card. Use the most powerful power plan.
- Play with the laptop plugged into power. This is because sometimes when it is not plugged into power, it does not work using all the resources the laptop has.
- I know it might be important to play in 4k but have you tried lowering the resolution?
- Clean install the graphics driver by following the article How to Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to Uninstall an Intel® Graphics Driver. Then, download and install the graphics driver version 31.0.101.3962 on HP Support.
Please keep me informed of the results.

Hello Luizflcwb,
Thank you for clarifying that information.
Since you have already clean installed the graphics driver to version, 31.0.101.3962 and using the maximum power plan, I will continue with the investigation and provide you with the next steps as soon as possible.

Hello Luizflcwb,
Thank you for your patience.
I want to let you know that we tested driver 101.4826 on our A370M (Lenovo Yoga i7 16IAH7) and did not observe the low-performance results you are getting on World of Tanks (1080p Ultra quality preset - Average 53 FPS with frametime). We tested on battery and power modes - TDP of the card is 25-35 Watts during gameplay. Check below the CapFrameX raw files. If you do not have access to the first file you can check the screenshot.
Suggest checking in Windows -> Graphics -> to confirm the game is running on the A370M and not the integrated graphics.
If the issue persists I recommend you contact the laptop manufacturer for further steps.
Please keep me informed of the results.

Andres P.
