B60 fan curves

I have a dual Xeon system with four Maxsun dual GPU B60 cards. With the docker off and no models loaded the fans are reasonable. But load a model and those blowers are running at like 40-45%. With four that's annoying. Oddly when I actually run inference they often throttle down.

And yet xpu-smi hasn't attached most of the switches to B60's yet and there is no fan curve setting at all.

To the Intel folks, will this be fixed? Is there a driver update coming?

Further under xpu-smi discovery they just show up as 0xe211. Meanwhile my display GPU, an Arc A310 displays as A310 like it should.

These cards are being targeted at Linux AI workstations and they have a lot of promise, time for the software to catch up. I'd hate to see a repeat of the A series launch.

I'm on Kubuntu 25.04. the machine is in a server tower with nice big and quiet at idle Noctua Industrial PPC fans that rarely ramp (bmc controlled server board) but trying to build my AI system for my company sitting next to this thing idling this loud will absolutely be an issue with the target audience.

So again, will we be getting the full xmi stack anytime soon?
