Bad Intel......

These guys refuse to acknowledge any problems.
I don't recommend buying products from this brand.
I personally encountered a ton of problems with the B580 graphics card.
Not a single one of them has been resolved in a year.
Games from 2022-2023 are considered outdated and not worthy of proper optimization by Intel.
Read the threads I've created. Read the threads created by other users.
They either turn a blind eye to the problems, ignore them, or simply close the thread, or claim the game is too old and they won't support it.

Think for yourself.

I asked for help on Call of Duty: WWII (2017) and they helped me troubleshoot and fix stutters. They are even investigating the possibility of a driver fix for the mediocre performance I am getting. Neither AMD or NVIDIA would ever even have these support forums. Nonetheless have supporters and people hearing me out and helping me.  So the fact they do and actually have fixed driver problems from here is amazing and something we should not take for granted. For instance, Crysis hasn't worked in DX10 mode since 2023 on modern NVIDIA drivers and they haven't fixed it despite people voicing their complaints. They are all multi-billion dollar companies that don't care about anyone or anything other than profits. So the intel creating this forum so we can voice complaints and they can actually listen, is great for us as the consumers.

Hi!
I'd be happy if they could help you with this game.
But I have a feeling their answer will be standard.
Didn't find the AMD and Nvidia forums?
I just googled and found forums similar to this one.
Let me just say this:
When I had AMD and Nvidia graphics cards, I never thought about whether a game would run correctly when I bought it. Everything always worked perfectly. I can cite NVIDIA PhysX, for example; they removed it from the 5000 series of graphics cards, but then brought it back due to popular demand.

With the Intel B580, I constantly think about this when buying a game.
Will this game even work (even if it's not old)?
They haven't responded to any of my threads properly. Threads are either ignored or closed.

They haven't addressed any of the issues I raised (even the translation issues).

They couldn't care less.

I'll give a couple of examples, but I imagine there are thousands of such messages:

Re: Poor performance in God of War 2018 - Intel Community   game of 2022

Re: Re:DX11 Performance: Ghost Recon Wildlands - Intel Community   the topic is still unanswered

See for yourself, there are a lot of them.
If they close them, it doesn't mean they didn't help those people.

I have been an Intel user and supporter for many years.  The way Intel is now is not they way they were.  That bothers me greatly.

Intel has a North Star:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/company-overview/company-overview.html

Specifucally, this says:

Our North Star

How we make decisions, treat one another, and serve our customers is the common thread that unites and guides us.

Intel seems to have drifted far away from their North Star.  Sadly, I do not see them recovering in the near future.

hi,bro

Hey Bro

If you'd studied more than just this one thread of mine, you'd understand why I'm so angry at Intel.

And as for the AI bots that praise Intel and their employees, they pop up here periodically.

I was talking about the new Resolutions404 bot. https://community.intel.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/480141

Also, regarding my walks, including jogging, I ran over 35 km in the forest last week, not counting the walking.
Do you think that's enough?

Sometimes I just want to come home in the evening, fire up a game, and enjoy it. I have a fair number of games in my Steam library. But Intel won't let me.

By updating the driver from version 8801 to version 8826, they've broken another game. This time it's Uncharted 4. The video memory fills up just like in CS2, making it impossible to play properly.
This happens all the time. They're constantly breaking games with their broken drivers.
The B580 graphics card itself is a technically excellent product. But the software is terrible.
