Custom Resolution Scaling, Screen Recording, and Per-Game Profiles for Intel Graphics

Dear Intel Support,

I would like to request several features that I believe would significantly improve the Intel Graphics software experience.

1. Custom Resolution Scaling

Please consider adding a custom resolution scaling feature similar to what is available on NVIDIA GPUs. It would be helpful to allow users to create and apply custom scaled resolutions with options such as:

• GPU-based scaling.
• Aspect ratio, full-screen, and integer scaling.
• Custom refresh rates where supported by the display.

This would improve compatibility with games, older applications, and displays that benefit from non-standard resolutions.

2. Built-in Screen Recording

I would also like to request a built-in screen recording feature within Intel Graphics software. A lightweight recorder with options for recording the full screen, a specific window, or a selected region, along with configurable video quality, frame rate, microphone, and system audio, would be very useful for gamers, students, content creators, and users who need to capture their screens without installing additional software.

3. Per-Game Graphics Profiles

It would also be valuable to have per-game or per-application profiles, allowing users to customize graphics settings for individual games without affecting global settings. Useful options could include:

• Display scaling preferences.
• Resolution overrides and custom resolutions.
• Refresh rate preferences.
• Frame rate limits.
• Image sharpening and other graphics enhancements.
• Performance and power optimization settings.
• Color and display options on a per-application basis.

Per-game profiles would make it easier to optimize different games and applications while keeping the global configuration unchanged, similar to the flexibility offered by other graphics software.
