Hi KentRusselP_Intel

Yes, there was a significant improvement. And I managed to activate XeSS Plus in the game.

Hi Danielcmg,

Thank you for reaching out to the Intel Community Forum. I appreciate your message and want to assure you that I’m here to assist you with your concern. To better understand the issue and provide accurate support, could you please share the following details:

  1. Have you tried different XeSS quality levels to see if the performance gap persists?
  2. Are you using the latest game version/patches for Enshrouded? What game platform are you using for Enshrouded, is it Steam?
  3. Are both upscaling methods set to the same quality level (e.g., both on "Quality" preset)?
  4. What are your CPU and GPU utilization percentages when using XeSS vs FSR? Are you monitoring VRAM usage - does it differ significantly between the two methods?
  5. What's your RAM speed/timings, and is DOCP enabled?
  6. Does this performance difference occur in other games that support both XeSS and FSR? Or it only happens to Enshrouded?
  7. Have you tested with Ray Tracing disabled to isolate the upscaling impact?
  8. What's the baseline performance without any upscaling enabled?
  9. What software are you using to monitor/check the FPS while in-game? is it MSI Afterburner?

Additionally, to help us better understand your system configuration and provide accurate support, we kindly request that you share the Intel® System Support Utility (SSU) logs from your device. These logs contain important details about your hardware and software environment, which are crucial for troubleshooting.

Please follow these steps:

  1. Download and run the Intel® SSU application.
  2. The tool will generate a text file containing your system information.
  3. Refer to this guide for detailed instructions: Help Guide for the Intel® System Support Utility
  4. Once completed, please attach the generated file to your response.

If you have any additional questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Best regards,

Hello ,

Thank you for the questions.
They were helpful. I carried out a check,
reconfigured Enshrouded,
and noticed that the D.O.C.P in the Asus BIOS was disabled. I enabled it.

Hi Danielcmg,

I hope you're doing well, and thank you for getting back to me. After enabling DOCP in the BIOS, are you seeing an improvement in FPS on Enshrouded? Specifically, is it now above 35–40 FPS with quality settings at 1080p? I’d appreciate it if you could share the details and confirm.

If you have any questions or need further clarification, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Best regards,
