Crash occurred again during a skill effect being executed. Here is the log from the Event Viewer of when the crash occurred.

Hi Drangueforde,

Thank you for providing the details regarding the crash issue in Granblue Fantasy: Relink (Endless Ragnarok DLC).

  1. To help us further investigate and identify the cause of the issue, could you please provide the following additional information?
  2. When did the crashing issue first start? Did it occur only after installing the Endless Ragnarok DLC, or was the base game also experiencing crashes before the DLC release?
  3. How frequently does the crash occur (for example, every session, after a specific amount of gameplay time, or only during specific missions/effects)?
  4. When the crash occurs, does the game close to the desktop, freeze completely, or does the system restart/encounter a BSOD?
  5. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far?

Greetings,

1. Started back in the base game and seemed to escalate further with the DLC.
2. The time varies but it seems to happen every time I play and at least once. Seems to occur most frequently when skills effects are going off during battle or still going off at the conclusion of a fight during the chest looting phase. Just spam abilities and it should occur.
3. Game and audio seems to freeze/stutter, then crashes directly to desktop with no error message. No system restart or BSOD that I am aware of.
4. Yes. I have tried the following:
    * Disabled Vsync since it already limits my FPS to 60 in the graphic settings.
    * Lowered the settings from Ultra to High and Standard.
    * Disable Steam overlay completely for the game.

Here is the SSU. I've also contacted the game developer just in case this is a game build issue. I also have other dump files, which I'll include in a zip.

Hi Drangueforde,

Thank you for providing this information.

Intel has recently released a new graphics driver version. To help isolate whether the issue is driver-related, may I kindly ask you to completely uninstall the current graphics driver using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) before installing Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.8864.

To uninstall the Intel graphics driver using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU), please follow the steps below:

  1. Download the latest version of DDU.
  2. If you downloaded the installer version, run the installer. A shortcut will be created on the desktop.
  3. If you downloaded the portable/self-extracting version, locate the executable file and extract it to a preferred location. Please remember the extraction path.
  4. Reboot the system into Windows Safe Mode.
  5. Launch the DDU application using either the desktop shortcut or the extracted executable file.
  6. When the Options window appears, click “Close.”
  7. Set the device type to “GPU” and select the graphics device you would like to remove. If you prefer a complete cleanup, you may choose to remove all GPU drivers.
  8. Click “Clean and Restart” or “Clean and Shutdown,” depending on your preference.
  9. Wait for the process to complete. The system will automatically restart into normal Windows mode or shut down once finished.

Thank you for your cooperation throughout the process.

Best regards,
