Intel Arc A770 artifacts

Good evening, I have a problem with artifacts with the Intel Arc A770 graphics card. It already happened to me before when I bought it or I don't remember. I will explain the reason why it is happening to me and let's see what it is. When artifacts appear, I will simply take a photo.

I will send an image via the internet, okay, so you can see the artifacts that are when I play, because it is very strange that it does not do this in Windows, it only does this in games and I have bought GPU stability program OCCT at 100% and I left it for 1 hour which is maximum and it does not make artifacts or anything strange, it does it when I play, I have a very large and well-powered source, Corsair RM850 80 Plus Gold sufficiently powered the two pins that it has

I urgently need to report this problem, because it is happening to me, it is annoying, etc. If the graphics were bad, it would give artifacts all the time. It does it from time to time, that is, today it did it for me and now it doesn't do it when the graphics want it to. And the graphics are working fine.

It shouldn't be graphical. I think the problem is that the drivers are not as polished or fine as they should be for me.

I will look for artifacts on the internet so you can see what I mean by that, but playing, I mean games, whether the game is

I also didn't overclock, that is, the default as it comes with the fans, I have tested that the temperature works well, etc. The GPU reaches 80 degrees when using 100% 2K it remains at 80 degrees

I'm sending you a photo from the internet, similar but it's like this, okay, but playing, when I play and it makes artifacts then it goes black screen, and I have to restart the computer, that's all for today

1. Artifacts do it to me in video games, any video game.

2. Bios updated to the latest version

3. Latest drivers installed Intel Arc A770  32.0.101.8136

4.  I uninstalled the drivers completely using Display Driver Uninstaller DDU in safe mode.

5. Clean installation 32.0.101.8136

6. OS: Windows 11 PRO 64 Bits 25H2

7. Did it happen to me before? As I said, I don't remember much, but yes, and it does it randomly.

Hi addelucas123,

Thank you for posting in our Community and for sharing the detailed information about your Intel® Arc™ A770 graphics issue. It seems that the artifacts only occur during gameplay and not during system stress tests, which could indicate a driver, game-specific, or rendering-related issue rather than a hardware fault. To investigate further, may I kindly ask you to provide the following details?

  • Do the artifacts appear in specific games or across all titles you play? If specific, please list the affected games and their versions.
  • Have you noticed if the artifacts occur when using both DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 modes (if the game allows switching)?
  • Just to clarify, are you currently still experiencing this issue? I noticed you mentioned that it had occurred before when you first purchased the product, or that you might not quite remember the details.

Once I receive this information, I'll analyze the data and determine whether this is software-related or if further diagnostic steps are needed.

Have a nice day!

Best regards,

Von M.

Hello,

I have Diablo 4 artifacts, as well as a problem with Optane x1600 raid 0 speed degradation.

These oddities occur after replacing the video card with an ARC A750 8 GB. After exiting a game, the speed drops by 50%, mainly write speed. It is highly likely that the problems are from the new version of Windows 25H2. 14 700K /micron ddr5 5600Mhz /2 x optane p1600 120gb/ arc a 750 8Gb /aorus z690i ultra.

...since the artifacts only show up during gameplay and not in Windows or stress tests like OCCT,.. it’s less likely to be a hardware failure. Your temps look solid, and the PSU is definitely sufficient. This sounds more like a driver or software-level issue, especially since it happens across multiple games and APIs (D3D11/D3D12). as @Petar it’s highly likely that the issue is related to the new Windows 25H2 version, which seems correct...

...so make sure to rule out compatibility quirks, you need to have Windows fully updated (including optional updates). XMP temporarily disabled (just for testing), and Games verified or reinstalled if needed

In my opinion, the problem is both in Intel and in Microsoft. After I perform a verification from IRST, the disk returns to its normal values in the tests. I can't perform this operation every time after a game. That is, the Optane behaves like a heavily defragmented hard disk and this is only related to the 3D graphics and the way it operates on the disk.
