Hello Oaklan,

Thank you for posting your query on the Intel Community Forum.

I apologize for the frustration caused by this DirectX 12 graphics issue on the Intel® Arc™ B580, especially since DirectX 11 is working correctly. World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Classic is fully compatible with DirectX 12 (DX12). The game is supported on modern DX12‑capable GPUs.

Please follow these steps to stabilize your system:

1. As a first step, please perform a clean graphics driver installation using DDU by following the instructions provided in this article: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000091878/graphics.html

2. After completing the steps above, please make sure to install the latest Intel® graphics driver to ensure you are running the most up‑to‑date fixes and improvements. Here is the latest driver link:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/785597/intel-arc-graphics-windows.html

3. Disable High Definition Textures: If you need to continue using DirectX 12, please try disabling High Definition Textures in the Battle.net Launcher (Game Settings → WoW Classic → Modify Install). Turning this off helps reduce texture flickering issues.

4. Please try disabling advanced DX12 features such as ray‑traced shadows and compute effects. This helps reduce GPU workload and can avoid potential rendering issues within the DX12 pipeline.

5. If the issue persist after these changes, please provide an Intel System Support Utility (SSU) report. This will allow me to review your specific hardware configuration and investigate further. Please check this link:

Intel® System Support Utility for Windows*

Please share the resulting SSU log file with us so that we can review the configuration and investigate further.

Thank you for your time and cooperation. I look forward to your update.

Best regards,

Nikhil
