We have no contact with the developers, so I urgently need you to discuss this internally and reach an agreement. I'm going to have to open another thread discussing D3D12, that is, DirectX 12.
greetings
David

Addelelucas there's already XeSS in the games own files. The XeSS isn't added to the game because it wasn't either properly done or either couldn't be properly done. Capcom might add the XeSS or you can turn it on by messing with in-game files.

Hello addelucas123,
I hope this email message finds you well.
Thank you so much for reaching out on the Intel Community Forum — we truly appreciate you being an active part of our community!
We completely understand how exciting it is to experience the latest games with cutting-edge technologies like Intel XeSS, and we can see why you'd want to make the most of it with Resident Evil Requiem.
After looking into this, we'd like to let you know that Intel XeSS has not been enabled in Resident Evil Requiem by its developers. Since the integration of XeSS into any game is driven entirely by the game's development team, this is something that would need to be requested or addressed directly by them. We'd recommend reaching out to Capcom's official support team, as they would be the best point of contact to raise this request and get a definitive response.
In the meantime, if you're looking to experience the full power of Intel XeSS, we'd love for you to explore the growing list of XeSS-enabled games here:
There are some fantastic titles on the list, and we hope you find something that elevates your gaming experience!
Should you have any further questions or need any other assistance, we're always here to help.
Thank you for your time and support.

Hello addelucas123,
I hope you are doing well.
Thank you for following up and for taking the time to reach out to Capcom's support team as suggested. I completely understand how frustrating it must be to be redirected between teams without receiving a clear resolution — and I sincerely apologize for that experience.
I want to take this opportunity to clarify the situation as transparently as possible.
After reviewing this further, Intel XeSS is not a feature that can be enabled through the graphics driver alone. Even though your Intel Arc graphics hardware is fully capable of supporting XeSS, the technology must first be integrated directly into the game by its developer. This is not something that Intel driver or Arc engineers have the ability to override or force-enable from our end.
At this time, Resident Evil Requiem appears to support DLSS and FSR, but XeSS has not yet been implemented in the game. The absence of the XeSS option within the game's settings confirms that this integration has not been added by Capcom's development team. For XeSS to become available, it would need to be introduced by the developers through a future game update or patch.
I understand this isn't the answer you were hoping for, and I want to be honest with you rather than redirect you in circles. The most impactful step that can be taken right now is for player feedback requesting XeSS support to be submitted to Capcom's development team through their official feedback or community channels — player demand does genuinely influence development priorities.
In the meantime, if you are experiencing any graphics performance or display-related concerns with your Intel Arc hardware that we may be able to help address them.
Thank you for your patience and for being so thorough in advocating for this. Please don't hesitate to reach out if there's anything further we can help with.

Hi Tharun
I'd like to respond on behalf of addelucas123 and all the players on this forum.
You wrote: player demand does genuinely influence development priorities.
But we also see the opposite with your support team.
A lot of players are writing to you, asking for game support, game optimization, and so on.
But you behave just like Capcom.
You close threads. You ignore some members. You don't answer direct questions. And so on and so forth.
This raises a question for me.
Why do you give advice that should work for you, but it doesn't?
You just don't want to do it, that's all. They don't want to implement XESS either.
It's just like you.
Moreover, I don't really need XESS in this game. The game works well as is.
Moreover, I am sure that Capcom, unlike you, will add support for XESS, as it values its reputation and players.

Hello all,
Integration of the XeSS technology must be performed directly by the game developer. The publicly available XeSS Software Development Kit provides all required components to integrate XeSS 3, as documented in the README, and final implementation decisions are the responsibility of the application developer.
The game’s official website provides access to developer contact channels, including social media links and a direct contact option, through which community feedback may be shared.

Hello addelucas123,
I hope this email finds you well.
Thank you so much for your patience while we looked into this for you — we truly appreciate it.
We wanted to follow up and share what our team found after a thorough investigation. Your query regarding XeSS 3 support was reviewed at our highest technical levels, and we want to make sure you have a clear picture of where things stand.
Here's what we found: XeSS 3 integration is something that needs to be implemented directly by the game developer. Intel provides the full XeSS Software Development Kit (SDK) — which includes everything a developer needs — but the decision to integrate it into a specific game ultimately rests with the development team behind that title.
This means the best path forward is to reach out to the game's developer directly and share your feedback requesting XeSS 3 support. You can do this through their official website, which offers social media links as well as a direct contact option. Developer feedback from players like you genuinely does make an impact, and your voice matters here.
We're sorry we weren't able to offer a more direct fix on our end — we know that's not always the answer you're hoping for. But please know that our team gave this every bit of attention it deserved, and we're glad we could get you a clear and honest answer.
If there's anything else we can help you with, we're always here.
