Just reporting again that im still having screen artifacts. Sparkle A380 Elf.
Driver gfx_win_101.6972.
When the game in borderless mode and somethin on top of it - artifacts appears
Firefox picture in picture mode boosts artifacts very much.
Windows explorer has very rare artifact appearance.
Check the video.
There no problem with games if you dont place anythin on top of the game window.
Card works good no crashes etc. Everydays usage.
My previous thread/report for additional information.

Hi @Mynameforum,
In the meantime, please try to follow the steps outlined in the article. Let me know if there are any changes, and kindly provide an updated SSU log report so I can review the overall system configuration.. I will begin investigating the issue and attempt to replicate it on our end. I'll post an update here or notify you directly once there are any developments. If I need further details, I'll reach out to you here. I appreciate your patience as I work on this matter.

Hi @Mynameforum,
Could you please provide the download link for the game you tested? I’d like to check the issue on my end, as we’ve already applied the known workarounds. If the problem is indeed caused by the Smooth Sync feature, I’ll investigate further and report back with my findings once the analysis is complete.

Hi @Mynameforum,
Thank you for providing the information.
As part of our isolation steps before replicating the issue, may I kindly ask you to try updating your BIOS to the latest version: 10.42 (dated 2025/04/18). After updating, please check if it makes any difference with the graphics driver installation issue.
If you're unsure how to update the BIOS, I recommend contacting your system manufacturer for guidance on the installation process.

Let me know once you've tried this, so we can proceed accordingly.

The latest bios is a beta and i has latest non beta bios already. Dated 2024/1/25.
The manufacturer says no need to update
*ASRock do NOT recommend updating this BIOS if you are going to use Pinnacle, Raven or Summit Ridge CPU on your system.
I have two pinnacle ridge cpus.
I found that different visual effects setting has impact on artifact appearing. Set it like mine on the screenshot or use "adjust for best performance". And disable transparency.
Then test in the lab. Also i dont use hardware acceleration in firefox.

Its not matter bacase it appears in many other games. You can use medium preset.
But also its important Vsync in the game settings should be off. Because otherwise smooth sync will not work.

Hi @Mynameforum,
I see. Have you had a chance to test the games using the latest version 32.0.101.7026 (WHQL Certified)? Please let me know if you notice any changes in system behavior.

Yes. Updated to 32.0.101.7026 (WHQL Certified). Didnt help.
Here Oblivion Remastered same artifacts. You should look for games which can disable vsync in borderless mode. Because not all of them can. And then apply Smooth Sync in the driver.
Im using white moving bar in the video to see if sync works and wich one.

Hello @Mynameforum,
I sincerely apologize for the extended delay in getting back to you regarding your screen flickering artifacts issue with the Sparkle Arc A380. I understand how frustrating this must be, and I appreciate your patience as we conducted a thorough investigation.
We completed extensive testing to replicate the issue you reported and simulated the issue under the conditions below.
- Tiny Tina's Wonderlands
- Multiple driver versions.
- Borderless windowed mode with V-Sync disabled
- Smooth Sync enabled and disabled in Intel Graphics Software
- Visual effects set to "adjust for best performance"
Unfortunately, we were unable to replicate the flickering artifacts on our test systems under these conditions. That said, since there has been a new Intel Arc graphics driver release recently. Could you please try updating to the latest driver version and let me know if you notice any changes in the behavior? You can download it from this website: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/785597/intel-arc-graphics-windows.html
If the issue persists after the driver update, we may need to explore hardware-specific factors or system configuration differences that could be contributing to this behavior. Also ,please provide an updated scan of Intel® System Support Utility for Windows.
Please keep me updated on your findings, I look forward to your response.

Thatnk you for test i did same too from my last reply i updated motherboarb bios to latest beta B450M-HDV R4.0(10.43)ROM and updated graphics driver to latest gfx_win_101.8425_101.8362 it had firmware update for the card.
I cant replicate the issue too for now no problems.
Another story.
All is fine, but i decided to add custom refresh rate and used CRU resolution utility to create custom resolution and pressed restart64.exe and my windows bootloader crashed this kinda dangerouse that it can crash windows by this and im forced to recover windows omg.

Hi @Mynameforum,
Thank you for the update! I'm glad to hear that the screen flickering artifacts issue has been resolved after updating your motherboard BIOS to the latest beta version and installing the latest graphics driver with firmware update. It's great that you can no longer replicate the issue.
Regarding the Custom Resolution Utility (CRU) issue you mentioned, please note that Intel Arc graphics drivers only support native resolutions. For any issues related to third-party utilities like CRU that modify display resolutions, I would recommend seeking assistance in CRU-specific forums or communities where users have more experience with that particular tool.
Since the original issue has been resolved, I will now be closing this thread and it will no longer be monitored. If you encounter any other graphics-related issues with your Arc A380 in the future, please feel free to create a new thread.
Regards,
Sean Lemuel D.
