Hello. Whenever i´m using chrome with my asrock b580 challenger, i get some artifacts on the buttons to minimize and maximize the screen if i pass the mouse close to them. If i disable hardware acceleration it stop from happening. This does not happend with my previous gpu. I have tested 3 or 4 versions of the drivers but it happens with all of them. The rest of my system is windows 11 with a ryzen 5 5600x cpu and 32 gb of memory.
Thanks in advance for your help on this. Its nothing serious, but its annoying as hell

Hi Stormtrooper,
Thank you for posting in our Community. I understand this isn’t a critical failure, but visual artifacts during normal browsing can definitely be frustrating, especially when it didn’t happen with your previous GPU. Since the issue only occurs when hardware acceleration is enabled, this strongly suggests a GPU acceleration/rendering interaction rather than a general hardware defect. To narrow this down properly, I’d like to ask a few targeted questions:
Are you using HDMI or DisplayPort? (And what resolution + refresh rate?)
Also, just to confirm:
Is your motherboard BIOS updated to the latest version?
Is Resize BAR enabled in BIOS?
Additionally, I'd like to delve deeper and verify specifics like the graphics models, precise driver versions, and any system errors. Utilizing the Intel SSU tool will enable me to collect detailed information about your system setup, which could aid in identifying the underlying cause of this issue.
Since disabling hardware acceleration resolves the issue, one temporary workaround is to leave it off, but ideally we want hardware acceleration functioning properly.
Have a nice day!
Best regards,

Hello Stormtrooper,
Thank you for providing all the details. I can see that you’re currently using an older driver version, 32.0.101.8509. Please be guided that the latest Intel graphics driver, 32.0.101.8531, includes improvements that can help address the Visual Artifacts issue you’re experiencing in Chrome (and Edge). Before installing the latest driver, please use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to thoroughly remove any remnants of the old driver and associated applications. For guidance, you can refer to this article: How to Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to Uninstall an Intel® Graphics Driver.
Once the old driver is completely removed, you can install the latest driver. If the issue persists after this, kindly share your Intel System Support Utility (SSU) logs. These logs will allow me to collect detailed information about your system setup, which can help identify the underlying cause of the issue.
I appreciate your patience, and I’m confident we can get this resolved.
Have a nice day!

Good afternoon.
I have done all that you suggested and the problem remains. I left you the additional information asked. Hope for a resolution soon (fingers crossed)

Hello Stormtrooper,
Thank you for patiently waiting. To further check if the issue might be related to a driver regression, could you please try installing graphics driver version 32.0.101.8135 and test if the issue still occurs?
Once you have completed the test, kindly let me know the results so we can proceed with the next steps if needed.
Thank you for your cooperation, and I look forward to your update.
Best regards,

Hello
I can confirm, I have the same issue.
Just move the mouse quickly back and forth and it appears.
By the way, this happens not only in the browser (I have Edge), but also in other apps, like Notepad.
I have: ASRock Intel Arc B580 Steel Legend 12GB OC

Hello again. Unfortunately it still persist the issue with those drivers after a clean install with ddu before. I´m free to test any other solution.
Best regards
Create a new thread?
For what purpose?
To avoid getting another answer?
You guys from Intel are funny.
Hello Stormtrooper,
Thank you for the update and for letting me know the issue is still persisting even after a clean driver install with DDU. I’ll need to perform some further research on this matter to identify the best solution.
Once I have an update or any recommended steps, I will post the response directly on this thread. I appreciate your patience while I look into this.

Hello
I confirm.
Same problem.
Sometimes there are artifacts in Paint, in the form of dots similar to burnt-out pixels on a monitor.
Hello Stormtrooper,
Thank you for your patience while we reviewed the reported issue. I would like to share that during my internal testing, we were able to reproduce the same behavior initially. However, after performing a DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) cleanup and selecting all GPU drivers for removal before reinstalling the graphics driver, the issue was no longer observed. Applications such as Chrome, Edge, Microsoft Store, and File Explorer were working normally after this step. If the issue is still occurring on your system, I recommend performing a system reset to help eliminate any remaining software or configuration conflicts that may be affecting the system.
For your reference, you may also review the attached video which demonstrates the steps performed during testing. Please let me know if the issue persists after trying these steps, and I will be glad to assist you further.

Hey, buddy!
I did everything you wrote, booted into safe mode, and uninstalled ALL video card drivers for all video cards using DDU 18.1.4.3.
Nothing changed, I'm not surprised.
Guys, I get the impression you have one computer for testing, for everyone.
So you're coming up with some ridiculous solutions on the fly, so users can try them out for themselves.
Because you rarely have access to that computer. Is that true?
Don't be offended, your answers have earned me such disrespect.
Hello again. I have done all the steps you mentioned, removing all gpu with DDU and still got that litle bright dots appearing unfortunately.
After a herculean task of reinstalling the entire system, since this computer is also used for work and contains a lot of work-related material, the problem continues to appear. Hope you find whats happening, cause I've already realized that the problem is widespread, considering the other reports from other users.
Thanks one more time for your help
Best regards
