AMT Error Message "[UNS] Failed to subscribe to local Intel(R) AMT"

Hello - how can I stop this error message from occurring on my PC? I could not find much information on the web about it.

[UNS] Failed to subscribe to local Intel AMT.

Twelve years later, same question. I'm seeing this every day in the Application event log:

Source=UNS
Event ID=2001
Message: Failed to subscribe to local Intel(R) Management & Security Application. Will retry.

AMT firmware version 5.2.71.1048.

My hunch is that this has something to do with the fact that the local NIC is down--the machine connects to the Internet through a Wi-Fi dongle.

The blog link in the previous post redirects to a general AMT SDK page. What does this specific warning mean? Should I just ignore it?
