Could you let me know what version of AMT this system is?  What version of the FW?  Which OEM?

Does the system boot at this point?  You could try a CMOS clear and see if it clears things up. Also check your OEM support site for  your system and see if there is a FW update.

If the CMOS clear or FW update doesn't clear things up, is it possible that your memory bank 0 is corrupt?  There is a PET event that is thrown on Sensor type 32 and it results in the error that you are seeing.

PET Events are defined in the ACPI "ASF!" tables: http://www.dmtf.org/sites/default/files/standards/documents/DSP0136.pdf  (look at page 14 of 94):

Description Event Sensor Type     Event Offset Event   Data 1/2 Entity
No system memory; memory missing (System Firmware Error)

40h/01h 32d (MemoryDevice)

Let me know what you find out.

the unit is intel's NUC

and the info as follows

the system is never modified, with default installation of 8GB ram, 128 SSD, and it runs fine for almost a year, There is no modification on the software. Error message never appear before, the system is able to boot, windows works fine. but the error message appear so frequently that it really bothers me.

before the error occurred, there is a information message saying

Hey Leon,

I would look at doing the following in this order and determine if the issue is resolved at each step

  • update the BIOS on your NUC to the latest version (0030) and see if that doesn't resolve the issue.
  • Unconfigure and reconfigure AMT on the System
  • If that doesn't resolve the issue, I would also look at swapping out the memory module.

Let me know what you find

Joe

Any solution to this so far? I have a SuperMicro X10-SAT-O machine with Xeon E3-1245 V3 CPU, 8GB ECC UDIMM (18KSF51272AZ-1G6K1) and an Adaptec 6805-E Controller. I have this log entry every 2.5 minutes or so. The system occasionally hangs with no entry on any log: BIOS, AMT, Windows, SuperDoctor (SuperMicro's hardware monitor). I am thinking of replacing the memory with a new batch but I am not sure if this would be the problem. I did have to replace a faulty memory which I discovered through the BIOS event log. All firmware levels for all devices are up to date. MEBx is 10.0.0.0004, FW is 9.1.1.1000, SOL and MEI driver is 9.0.0.1287. I had reset, power cycled the system and also power cycled it. Unconfigured and reconfigured AMT, as well. I would greatly appreciate any input.

Are you getting the exact same error message "Operating system lockup or power interrupt." and what is the entry before the repeating error starts?
