Hi!

I want to know if Intel Centrino Duo also supports AMT.
My doubt is because the chipset for Intel Centrino Duo can be GM/PM965 or 945 and the chipset for Intel Centrino Pro is also 965. But Active Management Technology is not listed at the Centrino Duo information URL (http://www.intel.com/products/centrino/duo/index.htm?iid=prod_centcompare+body_L7000txtlink1)

Hi Maria,

You are correct. Intel Centrino Duo can have either the IntelGM/PM965 or Intel 945 Chipsets. Intel Centrino Pro systems have the Intel GM/PM965 chipsets. If you are shopping for a Centrino system that supports vPro, it must have the "Pro" branding, otherwise it will not support Intel Active Management Technology (AMT would have been disabled by the OEM on an IntelCentrino Duo branded mobile platform.
