Fail to install Win2000 to the machine of AMT 3.0 with EFI BIOS

Hi,

I tried to install Win2000 (Simplified Chinese Version) to the machine of AMT 3.0 with EFI BIOS, but hanges after it automatically loading files from CD and before the traditional Hitting F8. At the moment, the cursor is just keeping flashing at the top left corner and never ends.

The more info about AMT machine is:

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 3.0G

Chipset(North Bridge): Intel Bearlake Q35

BOIS: JOQ3510J.86A.0669.2007.0821.2354

NIC: Intel 82566DM-2 Gigabit Network Connection

Any help or hint is appreciated.

Hi - try updating your system to the latest bios at the Intel Support site here. You need the 0745 Bios.

Hi,

I am facing similar problem while installing Windows 2003 Enterprise edition.
In my case, the configuration is
Intel Core2 Duo processor(E6550),
Motherboard Intel Desktop Board DQ35JO

If the problem is related to BIOS, would you please help me with the links to get the latest BIOS for specific chipset and guidelines to upgrade it.
