Hi,

I have one question wants to figure out, at the host site I use skylawan software, and when the target site computer is in soft-on state, I monitor the network package at host site via sniffer software, the package is receive complete fast (about 800 packages per second), but when the target computer is in soft-off state, then the package is receive very slowly (about 30 packages per second), I would like to know, even if the target site in soft-off state is use 10M LAN instead of use giga LAN, but is that the main reason that cause the situation I mentioned above? or there are some other reasons?

Best Regards

Cary

Hi Cary,

When the system goes into an Sx power state, the ME only uses a 10baseT connection to the network, so that is what you are seeing with the drop in network performance.
