Provisioning - Basic, Standard, Advanced

I want to know more about the new names of provisioning methods: Basic, Standard and Advanced.

This is new information for me... but I have read this is on since 2008.... (http://communities.intel.com/docs/DOC-1684)

How are they different than SMB/Enterprise? Is just the name or something changed in AMT?
What AMT versions use this new methods?
How is SCS affected by this new provisioning methods?

Thanks!

Hi Maria Camila,
These are just new terminology:

  • Basic Provisioning = SMB mode
  • Standard Provisioning = Enterprise Mode without Encryption
  • Advanced Provisioning = Enterprise Mode with Encryption

Since the new terms are not really new modes, they don't really affect SCS versions and do not depend on specific AMT versions.
Hope this helps.
