Querying Configuration Service SOAP API for Getting machine info

Hello there,

I need connecting to Configuration Service when I discover a new AMT machine in the network for retreiving machine profile (and then connecting it); the thing it's that when a machine is discovered there is just a Discovery.AmtDiscoveredComputer object. As you know this object only has three fields (Hostname, EndPoint & Info), which ones are not usefull for querying the Configuration Service SOAP API.

How can query the web service on the discovery event? (I've reviewed the Interface Guide and I think there no way to get platform -machine info- without UIID or FQDN) or
What's the rigth method to call on that event?

Many thanks,

Javier Andrs

Hi,

You can use the Activator utility for this purpose. It is basically the next generation of the Remote Configuration Tool. More details on this tool can be found here.

Let us know if this solves your issue.

Thanks,

Hello Sree,

Ididn't explained ehougth.

My purpose it's progammaticaly accessing the SCS service to query if the discovered AMT machine it's already provisioned and if it is then querying for credencials to connect it to my pplication.

The only one restrictionI foundit's that on discovery event there are no lots of information (no UUID, just FQDN, ip).

Many thanks,

Hello Sree,

By the meanwhile, I had opened other post here:

http://software.intel.com/en-us/forums//topic/60343

That's a question about how to call the WS-translator service methods by code.

Many thanks and waiting for your reply,
