SCS console error: An unexpected error occurred on a send

I have an issue with the installation of the SCS. I cannot log into the SCS Console. After the login screen is displayed and I've entered the FQDN and the virtual directory, I get the following error message:

Login Failed. Reason: The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send.

I cannot find anything to solve the problem. Maybe you can help me? I would be grateful.

Check to make sure the AMTConfig service is running. Sometimes the service fails to start or unexpectedly stops after the install. If the service is not running then start the service and then try to connect.
