The difference between Intel AMT and IPMI

Hi, I have some question about iAMT and IPMI. I know the IPMI is targetted at server systems, and AMT is targetted at business systems. But their functions are similarly. What is the main difference between them? Design? Develop for engineer? Thanks!

Hello - AMT was built on IPMI but is not completely compliant.  AMT includes a  Manageabiltiy Engine which has it's own webserver built in so you don't need another NIC for IMPI.
