manageability commander tool has stopped working.. in windows 7

Intel Manageability Developer Tool Kit is not running under windows 7andwindows 2008 r2 rc. I had already tried compatiblity mode, it didn't help. The error message I got after I try run it: manageability commander tool has stopped working.. What can I do?

AMT does not depend on underliying OS, so maybe this issue is something about execution permissions, have you try running as administrator?

The current version of the DTK isn't yet supported on Windows 7. Did you see the previous thread on rebuilding the source that's provided to get the DTK running on Windows 7? Brett was fairly detailedon how you would do so, and the source is provided for the DTK so it would be fairly straightforward.

Hello,
Unfortunately the release plan for commander is not available.
I know that team is working on improvments to it but do not know when the next release will be and do not know if it will have Win 7 64-bit support.

As Andy mentioned above you can use the source to compile yourself.
