Lagging video when I am streaming over internet

I have been using this Intel Compute Stick for a wile and during last couple of months, I am unable to play smooth video in netflix & youtubeon Edge, Chrome and Firefox,

The GPU is constantly at 100% and the grafic is slow and laggy.

Updated all drivers to latest version from Intel site, looking specifically for STK2m3W64CC versions. Reinstalled windows and updated it to the lates drivers No luck either.

Definitely a drivers issue this stick was working fine until 2-3 monthd ago and I have been waiting for a s/w update but now improvments so far, so now I like to have this issue fixed

I have the same stick, all updates and bios from Intel, and from Microsoft, and am not experiencing the lag. With constant Netflix usage in firefox, it performs very well. My stick is on the second floor while my router is in the basement, in less than optimal locations, and the connection handles the streaming without fail.

Perhaps the issue is the wireless connection or with the router, or a wireless mouse/keyboard is interfering.

A second thought - could something have been installed on your stick, and running without your knowledge?

Also, I am am running W10 Pro on mine, with Windows Defender. Is your stick running the same?

I have the same problem if I am at home or in a hotel, I have been using the stick in Thailand, Singapore, Korea, Sweden and now in Norway, everyware I have the same lag when I am watching streams, Downloaded media plays fine on VLC.

When i watch media on VLC the GPU process is max 30% but as soon as I watch streaming media the GPU process is always 100% I Firefox, Chrome or Edge.

I am runnning the stick with a newly installed Win 10 Home, The programs I have installed are Win 10 standard and some apps like VLC, WinRAR that all are win10 safe

I have just completed 3 new s/w updates

Bios v. 0057

Chipset v. 10.1.1.14

Bluetooth v. 20.60.0.4

And now I can watch streams without any lagging :-) any changes I will updated this post
