d435i RGB resolution

i'm using d435i realsense camera on python (opencv)

When i use videocapture function for using d435i's rgb camera, it's resolution is 480X640.

I want to change the resolution to 1280X800 when i use videocapture

There are some way to change the resolution by editing ROS launch file. but i don't want to use ROS. 

Is there any other way to change the resolution without ROS?
