My host Os is WIN10. I have installed and compiled ncsdk successfully.
When pluging in NCS device, NCS was detected as "Movidius Ltd. Movidius MA2X5X [0001]"
After running "make run", NCS changed to "Intel Corporation VSC Loopback Device [0100]" and got error.
Below shows terminal logs:

I am having the same issue. I've tried it on 2 different laptops. The first laptop I had the NCS plugged into a USB 3 port on the laptop. On my second laptop I have it plugged into a 3.0 port on the docking station.
My next step is to try setting up my Pi 3B+ to see how that runs. Using the VM sure would make things convenient though.

@Juan Currently there are issues running the NCSDK within a VM. Other issues: https://ncsforum.movidius.com/discussion/919/ncsdk-2-05-not-working-in-virtualbox-5-2-with-ubuntu-16-04-04#latest

@abhinandan00 We're working on a release candidate at the moment. I'll make a post as soon as we have a software release that addresses the issue. I appreciate the community's patience and understanding. Thanks.
