I'm trying to make examples or make profile in ncsdk/examples/caffe/SqueezeNet and I got is error : [Error 7] Toolkit Error: USB Failure. Code: Error opening device *** Error in `python3': free(): invalid size: 0x0000000001aff3d0 ***

I'm using python3.5.2

Anyone can point to me how can I resolve this issue? Thanks

@coffee Currently I am having a problem reproducing your issue. Can you give me more information about your system (dedicated machine/vm/NCSDK version/OS)? Aside from the make profile/examples issue, are you able to run any other examples? Try going into the ncsdk/examples/caffe/AlexNet folder and doing a make run. Let me know what output you receive. Hi, I'm having a similar problem and I think @laupetre is also.

My virtualbox seems to recognize the Movidius stick (see pic) but "make run" doesn't find it. (see file)

Hi @Veeru

The problem you mentioned seems to be related to the use of the NCSDK/NCAPI with NCS2, current versions of the NCSDK do not have support for it. As you can see here https://ncsforum.movidius.com/discussion/1302/intel-neural-compute-stick-2-information, the SDK/API to use for the Intel® NCS2 is the Intel® distribution of OpenVINO™ toolkit. That may explain the observed error, hope this helps.
