Hi AElha5,
Thank you for reaching out.
You can check the object detection FasterRCNN demo here.
Please consider that ONNX is not supported by the MYRIAD plugin in OpenVINO™, you would need to use one of the networks listed here.
If you have more questions, please feel free to ask us.
Regards,

Hi AElha5,
Yes, you can train your own Faster RCNN, but with the Intel® Neural Compute Stick 2 (NCS2), you would need to use a Tensorflow "faster_rcnn_inception_v2", "faster_rcnn_resnet101".
I recommend you convert your ONNX model to the TensorFlow model, I worked on a similar thread on the following link.

Hi AElha5,
Yes, the ONNX format is not listed on the frameworks plugin supported by MYRIAD, you need to convert your ONNX file (already trained and converted from Matlab) to the Tensorflow file (or another framework supported by NCS).
Also, it may be possible you can export the model from Matlab in one of the formats supported, however, we have not tried it and don't have an official guide for this.

Hi AElha5,
Sure, can you provide the commands are you using and the errors that you got when you try to convert the model?
