The Intel® Neural Compute Stick 2 was launched this week at the Intel AI Developer Conference in Beijing. This post will hopefully clarify a few things for users of the original Intel® Movidius™ Neural Compute Stick device and provide some reference links.
The main product page for the Neural Compute Stick including NCS2 is here:

The current releases of the NCSDK and NCAPI do not have support for the Intel® NCS 2 device. The SDK/API to use for the Intel® NCS2 is the Intel® distribution of OpenVINO™ toolkit. This toolkit supports the original Intel® NCS and, starting with the 2018 R4 release, the NCS2 as well. It is available here:

The OpenVINO™ toolkit user forum is here:

The Intel® Distribution of the OpenVINO toolkit does not _currently_ support Raspberry Pi but the team understands that RPi support is in high demand and this feature request has been prioritized accordingly.
A guide for users transitioning from the NCSDK to the OpenVINO toolkit for current users can be found here:

Does NCS2 support Java ?
Is there any link about hardware design or solutions? I want to make a custom product which embed the chip, but can't find any information.
What will be the power consumption of NCS2
