I am trying to install openvino sdk for FPGA and i am not seeing setupvars.sh file in /opt/intel/computer_vision_sdk_fpga_2018.1.265 folder. Do i need to install openvino without FGA first ? Here is the link i am using for the setup guide.

Thanks

Yatish

Hi Yatish,

The setupvars.sh is not in the OpenVINO FPGA package I will log this as a bug and we will make sure that it gets rolled out into the next release. For now, you can use this setupvars.txt(changed extension because .sh isn't supported here on the forum) file that I got out of an earlier release of the package. You will also have to change the first line in the file to INSTALDIR = /opt/intel/computer_vision_sdk_fpga_2018.1.265 before placing it into the /opt/intel/computer_vision_sdk_fpga_2018.1.265 path so that it will have the correct path for INSTALLDIR. Then I advise you to follow the documentation link that you've pasted as it has other environment variables that you must set. Hope this helps!

Kind Regards,

Monique Jones

Hi Monique

Thanks for replying. There was no bin directory in the folder so i created one and copied your file there with .sh extension. I modified the script as you recommended and ran it. it went through fine and i see a bin directory now in /opt/intel/computer_vision_sdk/ but i do not see /opt/intel/computer_vision_sdk/install_dependencies folder. Am i still missing something ?

Thanks

Yatish
