Hello,
the question title is an apt description of my problem: whenever I plug in only my NCS2 into my 32bit raspberrypi OS raspberrypi 4B and try to look for the device's name via ssh with:
lsusb
I correctly get the name of my NCS2 as "Intel Movidius MyriadX" on bus 001, and when I do the same thing except with a monitor and keyboard plugged into my raspberrypi 4B, I also successfully find the name of the NCS2 device.
But whenever I try to find the NCS2 as a block device with a monitor and keyboard or with ssh via:
lsblk
the only device that appears is my SD card holding the OS. I don't think that this is a problem with my raspberrypi, as it has no problems correctly identifying USB drives as block devices.
What do you think could be the issue? I encountered this after successfully downloading OpenVino 2022 and was trying to test with a model in the 'Downloading a Model' section whilst following the tutorial here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/technical/arm-sbc-and-ncs2.html
I got stopped right before I was going to execute:
mkdir /media/usb mount /dev/(device name) /media/usb mkdir ~/OpenVINO cp /media/archive_openvino.tar.gz ~/OpenVINO tar xvzf ~/OpenVINO/archive_openvino.tar.gz
(NOTE: I also tried with the usb device name as /dev/bus/usb/001/(device number))

Hi Matthew_Beck,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
For your information, the article you're following is outdated.
Furthermore, Intel® Movidius ™ VPU based products, including Intel® Neural Compute Stick 2 (NCS2) are no longer supported in the latest OpenVINO releases.
For support on those products please use OpenVINO 2022.3 by following this Install OpenVINO™ Runtime for Raspbian OS guide. Follow the Get Started with C++ Samples to test out our OpenVINO samples.
Regards,
Hairul
