Hi,

OpenVINO release statement may need to update, FPGA Bit Stream is in 2020.2 package, it's assumed no reason to not recommend 20202. for FPGA. thanks, BR/Kobu

FPGA Plugin

  • Intel® Vision Accelerator Design with an Intel® Arria 10 FPGA (Mustang-F100-A10) Speed Grade 1 bitstreams and Intel® Programmable Acceleration Card (PAC) with Intel® Arria® 10 GX FPGA are not included in the OpenVINO 2020.2 release.
  • If you use Intel® Vision Accelerator Design with an Intel® Arria 10 FPGA (Mustang-F100-A10) Speed Grade 1 and Intel® Programmable Acceleration Card (PAC) with Intel® Arria® 10 GX FPGA, we recommend continuing to use the OpenVINO 2020.1 release.

Hi  Ryosuke!

Documentation and release notes state that bitstreams for Intel® Vision Accelerator Design with an Intel® Arria 10 FPGA (Mustang-F100-A10) Speed Grade 1  are not included and that's true.

There are bitstreams for Intel® Vision Accelerator Design with an Intel® Arria® 10 FPGA (Speed Grade 2) or the Intel® Programmable Acceleration Card with Intel® Arria® 10 GX FPGA, though.

Regards,

Dmitry

Hello Dmitry,

Thank you the comment.

Mustang F100 is ok but release note is noticed that PAC bit streams are not included. Please see Kobuna-san's comment.

Is release note fixed soon?

I think the release note should notice which bitstreams are included but it is not and it notices only NOT INCLUDED.

Thank you,

Satoshi Shinotsuka
