Quick Question about Performances with an RPI3 and Academic Use

Hello there,

 

I might be really interested to buy a few Movidius Sticks. I just have a few questions:

 

     

  • how many images per second can be processed with one stick ?

    •  

  • how many sticks can be used at the same time (is it a linear scaling ? => 2 sticks = 2 times faster) ?

    •  

  • Is there any academic price ?

    •

Note: Image inference performance can be increased when compiling a graph file with the -s 12 option to take advantage of the SHAVE processors on the NCS.
