What are the precautions for the customized camera module?

I am currently looking for a camera module for my robot vision system. It is different from the common modules available on the market. Our project has specific requirements for various parameters of the module. But before that, I have never used a custom camera module. Are there any things to note? Currently, I have found a Chinese manufacturer of custom camera modules whose solution perfectly meets our needs. How can I get the most favorable quote? Can anyone give me some suggestions?
