Thanks for reaching out to us.


Intel® Neural Compute Stick 2 (NCS2) is a USB plug but it still requires an edge computing device. This is because it accelerates the work by assisting the edge device computer processing unit (CPU) by taking over the mathematical burden needed for running deep learning models.


NCS2 is only able to load Intermediate Representation (IR) format model for inferencing. It is not possible to add pre-processing codes or training models on NCS2.
