Hi Team, I was provided a floating license for my Quartus Prime 20.1 Standard edition. It loads up the software but fails to compile the code which runs fine on lite edition.
The error that pops up is:
"Error (119013): Current license file does not support the 5M1270ZF256C5 device. Go to the Self-Service Licensing Center on the Intel FPGA website to manage your licenses (https://mysupport.altera.com/AlteraLicensing/license/index.html)."
The license on my PC - shows "Subscription expiry" as 2021.10, but the same license used at a different location says 2023.01. I have got the license '.dat' file which shows the proper 2023.01 as the issued date.
Attached the license setup on my Quartus

Hi
Could you help to upgrade the license daemon software to the newer version and try it.
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/software-kit/709649/license-daemon.html
Please stop and restart the server after upgrade. Shutdown/kill all the license service and restart server and client back from ground zero to see if it works?
You need to allow the firewall access to the port number from both server and client machine.
2) Make sure the port used by license server or vendor daemon is not blocked.

Hope all is well. This thread will be transitioned to community support. If you have a new question, feel free to open a new thread to get the support from Intel experts. Otherwise, the community users will continue to help you on this thread. Thank you
