since December 2019 (after an ubuntu update)

we have this error:

Compiling for FPGA. This process may take a long time, please be patient.

Error (213009): File name "output_files/afu_fit.green_region.pmsf" does not exist or can't be read

Error: Quartus Prime Convert_programming_file was unsuccessful. 1 error, 0 warnings

Error (23031): Evaluation of Tcl script a10_partial_reconfig/flow.tcl unsuccessful

Error: Quartus Prime Shell was unsuccessful. 7 errors, 3326 warnings

Error: Compiler Error, not able to generate hardware

Is there any solution?

I think it's a License Problem...

Hi,

Regarding the content you asked, it is a known issue that the license of three IPs attached to the Acceleration Stack has expired at the end of 2019 attached to the Warning.

As a result of the license expiring, GBS cannot be generated successfully.

Could you try to contact the local sale?

Hi,

Yes, the licenses bundled in Acceleration Stack are expired from Jan 2020.

Based on my understanding, the license patch had released in RDC (resource and design center) and customers need to sign CNDA to access this page.

If you need to use the it urgently, you have to find local FAE to request temporary (30 days) evaluation licenses.

Please note that the IP license expiry date is extend to 12/2022 as stated in README.txt.
