License generated from self_service center not working

I generated the license file from self-service center from Intel website. The license file was generated successfully. I downloaded the file and specified the path to license.dat file in Quartus Prime Pro. However when I try to create a new project, it complains that it needs the license.

I used the NIC id to generate the license and double checked the NIC id is correct and also recognized by Quartus software, but license is still not working. Please help.

OK. I could not see LMTOOLS running. After some online searching, I found the following video, which shows how to setup a fixed node or floating license correctly. Following this video, I am able to setup my license correctly and don't see the error any more.

Thank you very much for help.

Welcome to INTEL forum. To narrow down this issue. Can you provide your

1)full debug/error.log file

2) Error message screen shot

3) Quartus version use

4) Machine OS information

5) License.dat file

And for privacy, you can reply/attach your file in private message.

FYI, you can find debug.log file at LMTOOLS > path to the debug log file.

You can refer to this following YouTube on how to find debug log file (min.2:55)
