Quartus II Web Edition and Max+plus II licensing delay?

Almost two weeks ago I ordered a license for Quartus II Web Edition using following link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/programmable/f/download/licensing/lic-q2web.html I got an answer saying I was getting an email with the license within 24 hours, but it never arrived. Then I ordered a license for Max+plus II baseline with the same results. How long does it take to get the license? Is there a faster way? I have to make changes to an old FLEX device in my company and managment is already making pressure to see results. Thanks, Bruno Pierucci

Hi,

I have received the license. Is the license file for both Quartus II and Max+plus II the same?

Thanks for your fast response,

Bruno Pierucci

Hi,

Sorry to bother you again, the license seems to be working for Max+plus II, but not for Quartus II Web Edition. I am using version 6.0.

After selecting the .dat license file following this instructions

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/programmable/support/support-resources/download/licensing/setup/lic-setup-q2webedition.html

and trying to compile, I get a message saying "Error: Feature Compiler is not available with your current license, or license does not exist"

When I restart Quartus II, I receive a message saying "Specified license file does not contain information required to run Quartus II software"

Is there something incorrect in the license?

Thanks,

Bruno Pierucci

So I posted back on Jan 15 about this same issue. Does each Max Plus license now require a special request to your IT team?

Hi Bill Kotaska

No, the Max Plus license can be apply via web https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/programmable/support/support-resources/download/legacy/maxplus2/dnl-baseline.html but currently it is under upgrading.

Hi Bruno Pierucci

License for previous Quartus web versions (prior to version 8.1) you can request at https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/programmable/f/download/licensing/lic-q2web.html

and our IT team has granted you a license. Kindly check your email.
