Quartus Licence setup

Hello,

I've received a licence file and downloaded https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/software-kit/711791/intel-quartus-ii-web-edition-design-software-version-13-0sp1-for-windows.html.

However i'm not sure license is being recognized properly.  So far, i have created a basic program that compiles but does not simulate although there are no apparent errors. Are there any basic checks i could perform to make sure everything is working as expected?

Hello

Welcome to INTEL forum. Could you help to regenerate again a new license.dat file in SSLC and try the new generate license, see how things go. But if still error, could you provide back the new regenerate license.dat file with the following,

1) Machine OS information

2) provide the full error messages and logs.

For privacy, reply/attach file in private message.

Hello,

I've followed the steps mentioned in https://community.intel.com/t5/Intel-Quartus-Prime-Software/Quartues-13-0-error/m-p/158229#M38375  and now i'm able to both compile and simulate on my licensed software version.

So far, everything seems to be working fine.
