Hi
Welcome to Intel forum. There is a fixed and floating license. The choice between fixed and floating licenses depends on the specific needs and usage patterns of the organization or individuals.
A floating license, also known as a network license or concurrent license, is not tied to a specific device or user. Example, a single floating license for a 5-seat software package allows the software to be use on up to 5 devices simultaneously.
A fixed or node-locked license is tied to a specific device, user, or hardware. A fixed license is meant for use on a single device and sharing it among multiple devices is not allow.
