Hi,
I am using the DE1-SOC (Cyclone V) and Quartus Prime Standard (as the Quartus Pro isn't supporting the Cyclone V) and I can't get the "use IEEE.float_pkg.all;" to work.
My licence is: "Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition SW-PE-FIX-UNIV" but apparently as it seems from this link: https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/central-libraries/us/en/documents/quartus-prime-compare-editions-guide.pdf one has to say/pay for "FIXED/FLOAT" support. Is that support included in my educational (I am a faculty) licence? If not, could it be added? Or my licence should be properly regenerated?
thanks!

That is right, after trying the Quartus Pro, the license worked and also the float support.
