Acessing SQL data in record sets

Hello,

I have an application that I easily ported from VMS to Windows. This app processes data in simple flat files sucessfully. However, I want to directly access the data from a SQL table rather than exporting the data for processing. Can you point me in the right directtion or perhaps show a simple shell for me to get started with?

By the way, I recommend clicking "Edit Profile" on the right and setting a display name other than your email address.
