Array visualizer problem

At some point over the last week, I started getting an invocation of the array visualizer at the start of execution. Now, suddenly.I get the message (twice):
"Unable to view array. The Inte array visualizer is not installed, or is not properly installed.
The specified module could not be found."
This happens at load time before the first executable instruction. It is installed, but I re-installed everything from scratch anyway and it still happens.
Can anyone give me a clue as to where it's coming from and how to get rid of it? It happens in the optimized release configuration as well as the unoptimized debug configuration. In fact, when running the release version outside of visual studio, the load time is now incredibly and atypically slow, but doesn't give a message
Thanks.
