Build 64bit Fortran code dll

Hei,

I have Visual studio 2012 and  Intel Parallel Studio XE Professional Edition for Fortran Windows (2016) on my Windows 7 PC. When I set up 64bit platform, the error message comes out as: The fortran compiler (ifort.exe) can not be found.  I checked my installation, and there are two ifort.exe: one for 32 bit and another is 64bit. Looks that the Visual studio can not find the one for 64 bit.

I have big trouble to generate a Fortran dll for Matlab 2014 platform.

Any help will be very appreciated.

How did you select the 64-bit configuration to build? Did you do it using Build > Configuration Manager?

Try this. In Visual Studio, select Tools > Options > Intel Compilers and Tools > Visual Fortran > Compilers. Click on the x64 tab and then click Reset... In the dialog that comes up, select "Reset settings for all compilers..." and click OK. Make sure that "Selected compiler" is "<Latest>" and that the correct version is displayed below that.

If the problem persists, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling Intel Parallel Studio XE. Note that version 2017 is now available.
