I've just started with Compaq Visual Fortran, although I have some experience with fortran 77. I bought Norman Lawrence's book "A Guide to Creating Windows Applications" and although there are numerous examples, I still strugle to find out, how to get my old programs to use these windows capabilities. Eg. How do I connect a button to a fortran program to run it? or how do I select and run different programs from a menu? or how do I disply the results of a program in a window? If somebody could help me with some simple examples, I would be very gratefull.
