Hello,
Ihave install CVF 6.6 on anAMD Thurion64 processor.
When I try to open a file on a project, I receive the message:
... memory could not be read
Does CVF works ona 64 bit processor or not ?
Thanks for your answer.

When most people talk about "a 64-bit processor" they may mean a Xeon or an Opteron. The differences between Opteron and Turion platforms haven't even been documented publicly. I wouldn't be surprised if CVF had difficulty with Windows x64, or even 32-bit Vista. In any case, CVF would build only 32-bit applications. For some applications, Windows 2000 would be most appropriate for a CVF installation. That OS runs fine on 64-bit desktop machines, but I haven't heard of it being tried on 64-bit laptops.

CVF ended development years before AMD released the Turion processors. It was not tested on x64 processors. Normally, I would expect it to work as a 32-bit application there, but the 32-bit environment on Windows x64 is a sometimes complicated thing, so there certainly could be problems.

I'll comment that the part you're having problems with is essentially Microsoft Visual Studio 98, which I have read does not work well on Windows x64.
