Can I use MKL?

Dear all,

Just to not bother Premium Support with a silly question, may I bother you with it? I have IVF10,1.024 (IA32), installed from the file "w_fc_p_10.1.024_IA32.exe". I take it this is the NON-professional edition of IVF. For reasons unknown, I also possess the folder "w_mkl_p_10.0.5.025". From this folder, I can install MKL. My question is: may the MKL be used with my compiler?

Best regards,

Certainlly; aside from possible minor version differences, the combination of the separate ifort and MKL is functionally the same as the integrated Professional version.

In version 10.x MKL was a separate install, even though you were licensed for both. I version 11, the install is integrated.

Dear Steve (and others),

Thank you for your quick & nice reply. Talking about IVF11: by mistake I tried to install IVF11Professional, for which I am not licensed. Is there an IVF11 Standard? If there is, where can I get it? (Usually Intel sends me an email announcing updates and supplying a path to the download; I got one for IVF11Pro but not for IVF11Standard).

Kind regards,

There is no IVF11 Standard. You are automatically upgraded to Professional. Just log in to the Intel Registration Center and ask it to resend you your license.
