Neither RH9 nor Fedora (any version) are supported platforms for our compiler for Intel EM64T. The listed distribitions are:

o Red Hat* Enterprise Linux 3, 4
o SUSE* LINUX 9.1 Professional
o SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 9

Other distributions may work if they support the platform, but we have not tested them.

In case you didn't literally mean support, but only wanted to know if there is a possibility of it working to some extent:

Rh 9 has no 64-bit version. It may run as a 32-bit OS on your platform. Among the common problems with it are that the static pthreads libraries aren't part of the distribution (must be added from an update), and bug fixes were terminated way back when rh 3 was first issued. It doesn't "support" anything.

FC4 issues a 64-bit version. If you can get it running, you will probably be able to run ifort fce for simple problems. If you have problems which aren't also present on supported operating systems, there would be no support. You are certainly entitled to try.

The choice of 64-bit operating systems which will run across the current crop of platforms is quite limited.
